Apple Books “Tell All” Ties Into Apple TV+ Show “Severance”

18 MARCH 2022 - It’s the kind of cross-promotion for which the word “synergy” was made. iMore says Apple Books has published a free book today, exposing the secrets of Lumon. 

Is Lumon a cult? Is Lumon part of a world girding conspiracy? Actually, Lumon is the company at the center of the Apple TV+ series “Severance.” Apple TV+ posted a message on Twitter Thursday, saying:

[Friday 18 March], @AppleBooks will release a free tell-all from inside the Lumon office, the company behind the controversial #Severance procedure. They have been a mystery to all “outies”, but one brave whistleblower risked everything to expose the truth. Available on eligible devices.

If you’re not watching “Severance,” most of that won’t make sense to you. If you are watching “Severance,” you’ll likely agree, it’s the kind of cross-promotion for which the word “synergy” was made.
