The Apple TV+ British production “Slow Horses” is finally making it onto the track. According to the streaming service, the series “follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 — Slough House.” A piece from Deadline goes deeper on the source material, saying the 2010 book on which it’s based (the first in a series of eight):

…follows the abduction of a young man with the kidnappers threatening to behead him live on the internet. However, there are question marks as to whether the victim is who he appears to be and there’s a murky connection between the kidnappers and a disgraced journalist.

Stellar cast, including Academy Award winner Gary Oldman and Academy Award nominees Kristin Scott Thomas and Jonathan Pryce. Apple’s press release says the show premiers on Friday 4 April. That’s a bit problematic though, since there is no Friday 4 April. A piece from Apple Insider lists the premier date at Friday 1 April. Since Apple TV+ premiers things on Fridays, we’ll assume a typo on Apple’s part.
